CHOO CHOOOOO! Coming into station, it's the hype train everyone! Did you SEE that nintendo switch stream?! It was incredible! Okay, it started off kind of slow with talk about the controllers, and their dumb party game, but then we got to ARMS and I started to nod my head like "Yeah, that's pretty interesting. Might be fun, I'd try it." And then they got to the really juicy stuff!
Screw all the lies about this being Splatoon with more content, it's freaking Splatoon 2 everyone! As excited as I am for it though... the first game made me a very angry and competitive person. >.>; And then there was Fire Emblem Warriors! And Super Mario Odyssey! Man I am so excited!
But the thing that made me squeal the hardest? Breath of the Wild! Another lie abolished: It's a launch title! And we got story, more world visuals, and races! There was a Gerudo girl! The laughing Rito! And the Zora! Look at the Zora's from Twilight princess, then back to the fish people in this, they are Zoras, don't argue with me on this. There was also a Gerudo and... dear god if that is the Great Fairy she got fat and scarier than ever. And then we had Zelda! Talking, showing emotion, *ahem* bathing, and wearing casual clothes that I wish were a sign she was playable, but sadly that's not the case. An actual quite from the creators was "If you could play as Zelda, then who are you supposed to save?" .....Yeeeeah. =/ Anyways, I liked her Japanese voice actor more. The voice suits her better, and the actor can express emotion WAY better.
And to top it all off? The console is $300 dollars. THREE! HUNDRED! DOLLARS! That's cheaper than the Wii-U is going for in stores right now! I have a ton of games for the wii-u I've yet to play and finish, and after my move no console to play them on... but instead of getting a new one I might just get this. The deluxe edition of mario kart 8 is helping this decision.

My last Halloween
So, I'm doing a few of these deviantart Halloween things for fun, and this last one wants to know my most memorable Halloween. Well it's sad to say but my most memorable one was my last one, in the traditional sense of trick or treating and such. Sure, there's some random memories from the times before, but this was when I hit 18. I was ready to take my recycled costume from the last few years and go get some free candy, screw that I was eighteen, I still looked young! But when I got outside, a thought hit me. Wouldn't you rather be inside, chatting online with your friends, playing games and having fun with them? So I circled the block, went right back inside, and haven't gone out for Halloween since. I don't really regret it either, it was long past time for me to grow up and start giving out free candy to the next generation. XP
Help My Friends, Please
Okay, I'm going to level with you guys. My friends, a man and his wife who go by Moshi (Matt) and Cora, who have a joint account at >BearBuddies (https://www.deviantart.com/bearbuddies) are in financial distress. They are a pair of artists with similar art styles, and two incredibly sweet and nice people. Soon, they're going to get married and get a apartment together, or at least that's the plan. You see, they're in a bit of a bad situation financially, and as they attempt to afford everything for the wedding, they're getting to the point where they are scratching by. Cora is having trouble affording food lately, and as such is spending money they need for their plans in order
Problems with Deviantart Functionality
So, I don't know what's going on with deviantart right now, and I wonder if it's something I should even bring up to one of the staff. For some reason, deviantart won't let me replace or even remove a thumbnail from one of my stories. This is increasingly frustrating, because the thumbnail I have on my Alolan adventure story is most definitely subpar, lacking effort, and officially outdated. It's to the point I'm actually tempted to delete and re-upload the story! Also, when I tried taking a thumbnail link from another deviation and placing it in the author's note under the story, it didn't make the thumbnail appear. I know deviantart's proba
Twitch Stream (Not a Joke Journal)
So in honor of April Fools day, Rivals of Aether put out a high school dating sim based on their game. It's a real thing you can get on stream right now and it amused the crap out of me. So much so that I decided to test out our streaming software and see how it worked, while showing off this silly and amusingly generic game. If any of you want to watch me try to hold a let's play by myself live, you can watch the recorded stream for the next week, until we upload it to youtube. I just went out and reserved my Nintendo Switch along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2. Hopefully I'll be able to land a new job before March and I'll be able to get all of these as they come out. I was SUPER excited to see that we were getting a proper Xenoblade Chronicles sequel; Xenoblade Chronicles X was good but it wasn't the same as the original. The Switch is also getting Sonic Mania and a proper Bomberman game! Not to mention a 3D Mario game that gets back to his 3D overworld exploratory roots.
